Shavkat Mirziyoyev sends condolences to Vladimir Putin
Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the loss of lives as a result of shooting at a school in the city of Izhevsk, the press secretary of the head of state Sherzod Asadov reported.

“The President of Uzbekistan expressed his words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families and friends, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured,” the report reads.
According to the latest data, the death toll in the shooting at school No. 88 in Izhevsk has increased to 15, including 11 children. 24 people were injured (22 children and 2 adults).
It should be recalled that the shooting occurred this morning, September 26. The shooter entered the school by killing a security guard. According to preliminary data, the attacker was armed with two traumatic pistols converted to live ammunition. After the attack, he committed suicide. The attacker turned out to be 34-year-old Artem Kazantsev, he was registered in a psycho-neurological dispensary.
After the incident, the head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov arrived at the school. According to him, about 1.2 thousand children study at the school. A private security company was responsible for security. A criminal case has been initiated. Head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko and head of the Ministry of Education Sergey Kravtsov flew to Izhevsk.
Mourning has been declared in Udmurtia until September 29.
