During the reporting and election conference of the WKF Karate Federation of Uzbekistan, Rashid Talipov was elected the new chairman of the federation, the press service of the Ministry of Sports reports. 

Previously, Rashid Talipov worked in the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers for education, health and sports, and before that he held various positions in the sports field.

Speaking at the meeting, Rashid Talipov called on everyone to unite in organizing the upcoming major competitions, including the Asian Championship among adults, which will be held in Tashkent in December this year.

Also during the meeting, the reorganization of the leadership of the federation and the Executive Committee was discussed.

Farrukh Tashkentbayev was elected as the Secretary General of the Organization, and Alam Mullayev, Bakhtiyor Nigmatullaev, Anvar Mukhamedov, Saparmurod Djiemurotov, Ilkhom Mamadaliyev, Burkhon Rakhmonov and Dilnoza Bakirova were appointed vice-presidents of the Federation.

During the event, members of the Executive Committee were also formed and the Charter of the organization in a new edition was approved.
