Uzbekistan, Oman hold political consultations in Muscat
On September 20, Muscat hosted the seventh round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Oman.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation in the political sphere.
The sides reached an agreement on the development of collaboration within the framework of international and regional structures, in particular, the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
As part of the consultations, the issue of further expanding the legal framework for cooperation was also considered.
During the talks, special attention was paid to assessing the current state of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and determining its prospects.
In this regard, an exchange of views took place on measures to dynamically increase the volume of mutual trade and accelerate investment cooperation and cardinally diversify its content.
