In the city of Nyagan, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District of Russia, the employer confiscated the passports of 19 citizens of Uzbekistan.

The External Labor Migration Agency of Uzbekistan studied the case.

It turned out that the labor migrants were forcibly used in forestry and their rights were violated. They sent an appeal to the agency. After studying the appeal, the representatives of the ELMA, in cooperation with responsible organizations in Russia, helped to get back their documents from the employer.
