Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds talks with President of Mongolia in Samarkand
Shavkat Mirziyoyev held the first high-level meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh.

At the beginning of the talks, the heads of state exchanged sincere congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The parties noted the wide opportunities for further expansion of trade and economic cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the formation of the necessary legal framework and the promotion of specific projects and programs, primarily in the agro-industrial sector. The sides voiced interest in deepening cultural and humanitarian exchanges and interregional ties.


Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on giving a systemic character to political and economic contacts between the two countries, adopting a "road map" for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
