Uzbekistan, Kuwait plan to strengthen trade and investment ties
On September 7, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov held talks with his counterpart from Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al Mohammad Al Sabah.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for the development of ties in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The sides noted the need for further strengthening the legal framework for cooperation in various fields in order to give them a long-term and systemic character.
It was emphasized that Uzbekistan and Kuwait have great opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial partnership in the areas of trade and investment. An agreement was reached on taking comprehensive measures to bring relations to an even higher level of development.
