Over 1,400 citizens who returned from abroad employed in construction facilities in Jul-Aug 2022
Today, special attention is being paid to providing all-round assistance to our compatriots who are temporarily working abroad, improving their working and living conditions, receiving information from their families, and ensuring the employment of citizens, who have returned from labor migration, in the domestic labor market.

In cooperation with regional offices of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations and regional branches of the Foreign Labor Migration Agency, the necessary measures are being taken to employ our compatriots, who have returned from abroad and gained various qualifications, in large construction facilities and other fields in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the Tashkent city.

In the construction field, in July-August of this year, officials established cooperation with 277 construction enterprises and project managers in the construction field, and 5,030 vacancies were identified. In particular, the demand for 952 concrete workers, 88 welders, 883 bricklayers, 1,104 plasterers and painters, 152 plumbers, 96 fitters, 169 electricians, 224 finishers and 1,362 other various professions was determined.

1,418 citizens who returned from abroad were employed in vacant jobs. At the moment, all measures are being taken to systematically start work on this issue.

In particular, qualified specialists who worked in the construction industry are being identified by conducting appropriate surveys with citizens returning from abroad. Events are being organized to employ them in large construction facilities based on interviews.


Citizens returning from labor migration who wish to work in the construction filed in Uzbekistan are asked to apply to the Foreign Labor Migration Agency and its regional branches.
