According to China’s leading state news agency Xinhua, during Wang Yi’s visit to Uzbekistan, both sides agreed to use the agreement reached by the heads of the two states as a guide to deepening mutual political trust and strengthening the conjugation of development strategies.
The parties agreed to promote high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and bring annual trade to $10 billion in the near future.
“Wang Yi also voiced China’s support for Uzbekistan’s entry into the WTO,” the agency said.
