“I would like to emphasize that the security of the region is indivisible and, above all, depends on how effectively our partnership is built. In this regard, we need to further increase practical cooperation in the fight against the traditional threats of extremism and terrorism, organized crime and drug trafficking,” he said.
According to the head of state, new challenges related to illegal activities on the Internet, the scale of which is increasing, require special attention. Today there are no borders for these threats, in particular, they penetrate through mobile phones.
“Unfortunately, the recent tragic events in Uzbekistan have once again confirmed the presence of destructive forces that are trying to disrupt our plans, create chaos and instability in our region,” Mirziyoyev said.
In this regard, the President supported the proposal to launch regular consultations between the leaders of the Security Councils and the special services of the countries of the region in all these areas.
