Accepting the credentials of the Ambassador, Vladimir Norov congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him successful work in a high and responsible position.
During the conversation, topical issues of the development of Uzbek-Vietnamese relations were considered. The readiness of the parties to further intensify ties in the political, trade and investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres was confirmed.
The parties noted the friendly and confidential nature of the meeting and expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, interaction will continue to develop for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
The new ambassador is 57 years old. Previously, he held senior diplomatic posts in the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry, worked as Deputy Minister, Ambassador to China. He speaks Russian, Chinese and English.
It should be recalled that Dang Minh Khoy replaced Ngo Duc Manh, who since December 2020 has been the Ambassador of Vietnam to Uzbekistan with a residence in Moscow.
