A passenger bus burned down in Karakalpakstan
The fire in the bus following the highway occurred on the territory of the Turtkul district.

On June 8, at about 03:14, an intercity passenger bus caught fire at the 555th km of the A-380 highway, passing through the territory of the “Ok Kamish” mahalla of Turtkul district, the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Regional MES Department received a message about fire in a Yutong passenger bus moving from Tashkent to Nukus, in which there were 55 passengers and 2 drivers.
Accordingly, at 03:40, 2 fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene, the fire was extinguished at 04:15. As a result of the fire, the bus was completely devastated.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. No one was injured or killed in the incident.
In accordance with the MES data, the distance from the nearest local fire department to the place of incident was about 45 kilometers.
