Main tasks of the Constitutional Commission determined
Among the tasks of the commission are the preparation of a draft law on amendments to the Constitution, the involvement of experts in the work, and the receipt of recommendations from scientists and specialists.

Earlier, we reported on the formation of the Constitutional Commission, which will implement organizational measures to introduce amendments and additions to the Constitution. The main tasks of the newly formed commission have been determined.
The first task: preparation of a draft law "On amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan" based on the collection, generalization, and formation of proposals.
The second task: to request documents, expert opinions, statistical data and other information from state bodies, public organizations and officials.
The third task: to receive recommendations on the proposals of research institutions, scientists, experts and specialists on amendments and additions to the Constitution, as well as expert opinions.
The fourth task: to involve representatives of state bodies and public organizations as experts in the work of the Constitutional Commission.
The fifth task: to develop proposals for amendments and additions to other legislative acts, if necessary, on the basis of proposals submitted to the relevant state bodies and public organizations for consideration in the prescribed manner.
The sixth task: to send appeals of individuals and legal entities about violations of constitutional rights and freedoms to the relevant authorities for consideration.
