Patrol officers use a shocker on tourists in Samarkand
On the night of May 21 in Samarkand, during night patrols, officers of the patrol service of the Samarkand city DIA, while identifying tourists from a neighboring country, committed rudeness and illegal use of special equipment (shock gun).

Currently, the MIA Internal Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the prosecutor’s office, is conducting an internal investigation into the case.
Based on the results of the investigation, the issue of dismissal and prosecution of all employees and managers guilty of violating the law will be considered, the head of the MIA Information Service Sh. Giyasov said.
