Changes coming into force from May 1 announced
Kun.uz website highlights some changes in the legislation of Uzbekistan that will come into force on May 1, 2022.
• The new traffic rules will come into force.
• Pensions and benefits will be paid in cash.
• Payment of salaries to employees of budget organizations in mountainous and remote areas, social payments will be made in full in cash without any restrictions.
• At least 50% of stipends will be paid to university students in cash.
• An e-platform “Social Service” will be launched.
• A grant of 50 million soums will be allocated for youth tourism initiatives.
• Aviaspotting will be launched at international airports in Uzbekistan.
• A trial version of the Unified Investigation Information System will be launched.
• The monthly salary of a female activist will be increased.
• The salary of the mahalla chairman will be determined by the number of families in the mahalla.
• Financial assistance will be provided to families of migrants in need of social protection.
• There will be an opportunity to get “Vehicle history” information.
• Receiving medical and social services by lonely elderly people will be simplified.
• Remuneration of researchers of the Veterinary Research Institute will be financed from the state budget.
• Recipients of pension plastic cards will be paid an additional 1%.
• Foreign citizens will be able to buy real estate in Uzbekistan without a residence permit.
