Sherzod Asadov denies rumors that a rocket had been fired from Afghanistan into Termez
There have been rumors on social media that rockets have been fired from Afghanistan into Termez. The President’s Spokesman Sherzod Asadov said the reports were untrue.

“Reports by some Telegram channels that Uzbek troops have been fired upon by missiles from Afghanistan near the city of Termez are completely untrue.
According to the Uzbek Defense Ministry and the Border Troops, there is no military activity on the Uzbek-Afghan border and the situation is stable. We ask you not to succumb to provocations,” Asadov wrote on his official channel.
