Uzbekistan welcomes announcement of two-month truce and ceasefire in Yemen – MFA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan issued a statement and called on all parties to show restraint and political will to resolve the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.

According to the MFA press service, Uzbekistan welcomes the announcement of a two-month truce and a ceasefire in Yemen mediated by the UN.
“We believe that a temporary moratorium on hostilities, as well as determination to firmly support the rule of law in this country, will create the necessary prerequisites for finding compromises in the name of establishing comprehensive peace and stability in Yemen,” the Foreign Ministry said.
The Ministry also called on all warring parties to show restraint and political will to resolve the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
