Komil Allamjonov, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media, also commented on the incident: “We are concerned about the situation around journalist Anora Sodikova. In countries where the rule of law prevails, any disputes (if any) should be settled only by the courts. No one has the right to threaten a journalist, or to threats in general. Those days are long gone now. Do not try to turn back time rewind. The fund will monitor this situation.”
