Kazakhstan recognizes Uzbekistan’s vaccination certificates
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to recognize vaccination certificates, Gazeta.uz reported citing the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service.
The two governments stressed the importance of strict and wide-ranging measures to protect the territory of the states from the entry and spread of the COVID-19 virus, and agreed on the following:
ꞏ It is no longer required to provide PCR test certificates with a negative result between the two countries. Only vaccination certificates should be available;
ꞏ It is also not necessary to present a PCR test certificate if there are vaccination certificates for persons accompanying children under 5 years of age;
ꞏ This rule does not apply to children over this age and accompanying persons. They must provide a PCR test certificate, regardless of whether they have vaccination certificates.
Earlier, it was reported that Tajikistan, the United Kingdom and Turkey have recognized the certificates of Uzbekistan.
