The two governments stressed the importance of strict and wide-ranging measures to protect the territory of the states from the entry and spread of the COVID-19 virus, and agreed on the following:
ꞏ It is no longer required to provide PCR test certificates with a negative result between the two countries. Only vaccination certificates should be available;
ꞏ It is also not necessary to present a PCR test certificate if there are vaccination certificates for persons accompanying children under 5 years of age;
ꞏ This rule does not apply to children over this age and accompanying persons. They must provide a PCR test certificate, regardless of whether they have vaccination certificates.
Earlier, it was reported that Tajikistan, the United Kingdom and Turkey have recognized the certificates of Uzbekistan.
