According to the State Statistics Committee, beef imports increased by 10.1 thousand tons compared to 2020.

Last year, Uzbekistan imported beef mainly from the following countries:

• Belarus - 21.5 thousand tons
• Kazakhstan - 4.9 thousand tons
• Ukraine - 2.9 thousand tons
• India - 916 tons
• Moldova - 738 tons
• Russia - 638 tons

During the reporting year, the country produced 2,640.4 thousand tons of meat (live weight).
