The link www.president-uz.link, similar to the official page of the President of Uzbekistan www.president.uz, is being disseminated on social networks and the Telegram messenger. The site claims that the head of state allegedly signed a decree on the payment of 650,000 soums to every family with a child.
The official Telegram channel AntiFake.uz reports that the link to this site is fake, and the information posted on the site is unreliable.
Users are required to enter personal information and plastic card data by clicking on the fake link.
“We ask citizens not to visit fake pages and protect themselves from virtual scammers, and we also remind you of the responsibility for disseminating false information,” the report reads.
