Ministry of Preschool Education tells how many kindergartens were opened in Uzbekistan in 2021
The answer to this question at today’s briefing was voiced by the head of the information service of the Ministry of Preschool Education Mavluda Askarkhodjayeva.

According to her, from 2017 to 2021, the number of preschool institutions increased from 5,211 to 27,656.
“In 2021, the coverage of children with preschool education increased by 6.1%, as 8,849 kindergartens were opened. Of these, 190 state, 8,539 family and 120 non-state preschool educational institutions on the basis of public-private partnership,” Askarkhodjayeva said.
She added that last year 6.7 trillion soums were allocated from the state budget for the preschool education system.
