“Early in the morning, Russia attacked our country,” he said. “Just like Nazi Germany did in World War II.”
The President of Ukraine called on all citizens to become blood donors. There were reports of wounded among the military.
“We have started distributing weapons to everyone and we call them to defend our country,” Zelensky said. “Everyone who has not lost their conscience in Russia should protest against this war.”
It is reported that Zelensky will air every hour with detailed information.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden had promised that the United States and its allies would “unanimously and resolutely respond” to Russia's military operation in Donbas.
On the morning of February 24, Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Donbas.
