According to the press service of the Committee for Religious Affairs, the talks focused on the ongoing reforms in the field of religion and enlightenment in Uzbekistan, as well as innovations in the field of freedom of religion and belief.
“Cooperation with the United States in ensuring freedom of conscience has been recognized. Strengthening religious tolerance is yielding positive results,” the Committee said.
Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum also said that the United States supports the ongoing reforms on religious tolerance and human rights in Uzbekistan.
