Uzbekistan, Latvia discuss strengthening bilateral relations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia Reinis Trokša.
During the meeting, issues of implementing bilateral agreements reached following the visit of the Latvian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs to Tashkent on February 7-11 were discussed.
The diplomat expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for organizing high-level negotiations and events held with the participation of the head of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.
The talks also considered the prospects for strengthening the Uzbek-Latvian cooperation through the European Union.
