Uztransgaz temporarily limits work hours of CNG filling stations in Fergana Valley
Work hours of CNG filling stations have been temporarily limited in Andijan, Fergana and Namangan regions. The decision applies from 13:00 on February 15 to 06:00 on February 16.

According to the press service of the Uztransgaz, wet and cold weather is observed these days in the republic, and this requires taking measures to ensure an uninterrupted and sustainable supply of natural gas to consumers and social facilities, as well as enterprises of strategic importance.
“In order to prevent gas supply interruptions for the population, temporary restrictions are introduced on the work hours of CNG filling stations in the autumn-winter period,” the company says.
Such a measure is provided for by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 12, 2018.
In this regard, at present, such restrictions have been introduced for the operation of CNG filling stations in accordance with the schedules approved by the regional administrations. In particular, CNG filling stations in the Fergana Valley stop working from 13:00 on February 15 to 06:00 on February 16.
The company emphasized that the purpose of this measure is to ensure the stability of natural gas supplies to the population, hospitals, schools, preschool institutions, as well as large power plants, the supply of natural gas to which is a guarantee of electricity supply.
