Shavkat Mirziyoyev terminates powers of Senator Rahmat Mamatov
The corresponding decree was signed on February 11 this year.

According to a Kun.uz correspondent, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev revoked the powers of Senator Rahmat Mamatov, who had been the Minister for Mahalla and Family Affairs and was transferred to the internal affairs department of Samarkand region on February 12.
It should be recalled that on January 21, 2020, the former head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Fergana region, Rahmat Mamatov, was elected the first deputy chairman of the republican council for coordinating the activities of citizens' self-government bodies – the chairman of the Mahalla Foundation.
Later, he headed the Ministry for Mahalla and Family Affairs.
On January 24, according to the presidential decree, Rahmat Mamatov was approved as a member of the Senate of Oliy Majlis.
