President Mirziyoyev instructs to fire 10 officials in Samarkand
On February 10, in Samarkand, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the participation of the regional activists.

As the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov reported, during the meeting, which was held in a critical spirit, the head of state instructed to remove several officials from their posts.
In particular, the following officials have been fired:
- khokim of the Samarkand district;
- khokim of the Nurabad district;
- head of the Samarkand regional department of the Central Bank;
- prosecutor of Akdarya district;
- head of the Samarkand city DIA, heads of the Samarkand and Akdarya district DIAs;
- heads of tax inspections in Urgut and Payarik districts;
- head of the Samarkand regional power supply enterprise.
Criminal cases will be initiated against some officials on the basis of the collected materials.
