Citizens who tried to smuggle weapons and ammunition into the country detained in Tashkent and Fergana
Employees of the “Gishtkuprik” border customs post of the Tashkent region stopped a Toyota Land Cruiser. During the search, they found the followings in the car: 1 air pistol, 2 gas cylinders for an air pistol and 310 air bullets. The car owner did not report them to the customs officers.

Another case of smuggling of weapons and ammunition was revealed at the “S. Nadjimov” customs post in the Tashkent region. In the trunk of one of the cars, customs officers found a vacuum cleaner, in which 1 air pistol was hidden, as well as 243 bullets intended for air pistols. The car owner did not inform the customs officers about them either verbally or in the declaration.


At the Fergana airport, customs officers found two 12-gauge hunting rifles among the belongings of one of the passengers. The passenger carried them in hand luggage. These guns were also not included in the declaration, the passenger kept silent about them during the oral interrogation.
At present, a pre-investigation check is being carried out on the illegal import of weapons and ammunition.
