Uzbekistan Airways increases volume of passenger transportation
In 2021, Uzbekistan Airways transported about 3 million passengers, the State Statistics Committee reports with reference to the national airline company.

According to the report, passenger transportation by air increased by 3.5 times compared to 2020.
Also, during the reporting period, 8.3 thousand tons of cargo were transported by air, which is more by 58.4% than in 2020.
Earlier, the company reported that it had performed its first flight from Namangan to Perm as part of the Eastern Hub project.
