Uzbekistan to increase maximum wage set to calculate pensions
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree “On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026”.

According to the document, from January 1, 2023, Uzbekistan will increase the maximum wage set to calculate pensions from ten to twelve times the base amount of pension calculation.
Currently, the maximum amount of earnings for calculating a pension should not be higher than ten times the size of the base amount for calculating a pension.
On September 1, 2021, the base amount for pension calculation was set at 289,000 soums.
