Due to failures in the energy supply system at gas fields and processing enterprises of Uzbekistan, there are cases of violations of technological processes. This, in turn, leads to a decrease in natural gas production.
At the same time, the operation of compressor station units in the system of Uztransgaz JSC was suspended. So, on January 25, 12 gas pumping units (GPU) at the Gallaaral compressor station (CS) stopped working.
In order to promptly troubleshoot problems at Uztransgaz JSC, an Emergency Group was formed under the control of the Republican Headquarters and emergency repair teams were mobilized. The main task of the Group is to provide practical assistance in the early commissioning of thermal power plants and the restoration of the gas transmission system in coordination with the Republican headquarters.
As of 18:00 on January 26, the hourly volume of natural gas supplied to the network of main gas pipelines amounted to 4,839 thousand cubic meters.
Of these, the volume of produced gas is 3,261 thousand cubic meters per hour (5,490 thousand cubic meters as of 10:00 January 25), gas imports – 710 thousand cubic meters per hour (620,000 cubic meters as of 10:00 January 25). The volume of gas taken from underground storage facilities amounted to 868 thousand cubic meters per hour (870 thousand cubic meters as of 10:00 on January 25).
