Tashkent experiences major power outage
At around 11:00 on January 25, electricity was cut off in most parts of Tashkent.

So far, Kun.uz has found power outages in at least seven districts - Chilanzar, Sergeli, Shayhantahur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusabad, Yashnabad and Bektemir.
The energy collapse caused problems for both subway traffic and water supply.
Power outages in such a scale have not been observed in recent years.
According to a source in the energy system, the study is currently underway and will provide information on the restoration of the power supply.
