A meeting with the participation of officials and heads of law enforcement agencies was held in the Andijan regional administration.

The Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev took part in the event and expressed his views on the results achieved in the socio-economic sphere in Andijan region. He drew attention to the measures that need to be taken to ensure the rule of law.

Sirojiddin Eshkuvvatov, who was appointed prosecutor of Andijan region by the order of the Prosecutor General, was also introduced to the public during the meeting.

Sirojiddin Eshkuvvatov has been working as the first deputy prosecutor of Namangan region since March 2021.

It should be recalled that in early December 2021, Gayrat Fozilov, the regional prosecutor of Andijan, was fired for shortcomings in his work.
