It should be recalled that during the CSTO meeting, the head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that countries should learn from the protests in Kazakhstan.
He stressed that Uzbekistan should pay special attention to this situation. According to him, there is operative information that allows him to say so.
“The lessons that have been said a lot should be learned, first of all, in Uzbekistan. If they are not learned, according to our information, the views of crisis organizers, first of all, will be thrown at Uzbekistan,” Lukashenko said.
Today, January 11, the press secretary of the Russian president, Peskov, said that the Russian Federation does not participate in conversations about an allegedly possible coup attempt in Uzbekistan, TASS reports.
The Russian side does not take part in conversations about an allegedly possible attempt to prepare a coup in Uzbekistan against the background of events in Kazakhstan, the potential risk of which was previously stated by President Alexander Lukashenko, the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.
“Rather, this is a topic for communication between Minsk and Tashkent, and we do not take part in the conversations from this perspective,” the Kremlin spokesman said, answering a relevant question.
