Extension of winter holidays for schoolchildren will not affect teachers’ salaries – Ministry
On January 9, the Ministry of Public Education announced that winter holidays for schoolchildren would be extended until January 24. After that, questions arose whether it would affect the salaries of teachers. The ministry issued a statement saying the extension of the winter break will not have any negative impact on wages.

“Teachers will receive their salaries in full,” the statement said.
Studies were supposed to begin on January 11, but the ministry decided to prolong the winter break until January 24.
Earlier, the Ministry of Higher Education also announced that the winter holidays for students would be extended for two more weeks.
