Shavkat Mirziyoyev goes on short leave

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has taken another short-term leave from January 5, 2022, the presidential spokesperson Sherzod Asadov said.
The duration and the whereabouts of the vacation have not been disclosed.
The last time President Mirziyoyev went on vacation was in January last year. He spent his short-term leave in Uzbekistan back then.
This is Mirziyoyev’s third vacation since his election as president in 2016.
