Electric vehicle imports up
According to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 76 electric cars for $1.8 million in November 2021.

The number of imported electric cars increased by 21 compared to October, the committee noted.
Uzbekistan imports electric vehicles mainly from China, Turkey and Lithuania. As of October 2021, the country’s EV imports amounted to 613 units, which is more by 7 times in comparison with a corresponding period of 2020.
Earlier it was reported that the domestic car manufacturer UzAuto Motors would recall cars produced between December 5 and 17.
