Police seize over 2 billion soums worth of fireworks
About 6 million pieces of fireworks were confiscated in Uzbekistan.
The cost of the seized fireworks amounted to 2.18 billion soums. The products were brought into the country illegally.
According to the National Guard of Uzbekistan, 54 people were brought to administrative responsibility, 375 materials were sent for consideration to courts and 277 – to the Interdepartmental Commissions for Minors.
