750 thousand jobs to be created in Tashkent and two other regions of Uzbekistan
750 thousand new jobs are expected to be created in Tashkent and two other regions of Uzbekistan. The authorities announced these plans during a video conference chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Tuesday.

It is intended to allocate $500 million to create new jobs in the service sector in Tashkent, Namangan and Samarkand. The funds will be spent under a special program.
Reportedly, more job opportunities should appear in the sphere of trade, by introducing a tax-free system and by opening duty-free shops to attract tourists.
