Uzbekistan ranks first in terms of labor migrants working in Russia
Uzbekistan ranked first in terms of the number of labor migrants visiting Russia in January-September 2021. 3,054,180 Uzbeks came to work in the Russian Federation in the first 9 months of this year.

Tajikistan ranks second with 1,597,481 labor migrants, followed by Kyrgyzstan (623,465 people), Armenia (298,801 people) and Azerbaijan (185,752 people), RT reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Belarus leads in terms of tourist visits to Russia – 30,526 people visited for tourism purposes during the reporting period.
According to statistics, 59,233 people from Uzbekistan visited the Russian Federation for education and this is the highest figure among other countries. Tajikistan was second (58,964) and Kazakhstan – third (55,036).
