Samarkand airport to resume international flights
Regular international flights from the reconstructed air harbor will be launched from December 17, the press service of the national airline reported.

Aircraft of Uzbekistan Airways will again fly in the following directions:
- Samarkand - Moscow - Samarkand
- Samarkand - Saint Petersburg - Samarkand
- Samarkand - Almaty - Samarkand
- Samarkand - Istanbul – Samarkand
The airport was closed on October 20 and opened on December 10. The flights during that period were temporarily diverted to other international airports of the republic - Navoi, Bukhara, Karshi.
