In his opinion, vaccination at an early age is important, since the formed immune response will affect the future health of a person.
Currently, adolescents aged 12 to 18 are being vaccinated against coronavirus in Uzbekistan on a voluntary basis.
Earlier, the director of the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology Alexander Gintsburg said that documents had been submitted to obtain permission to research a vaccine against coronavirus among children from six years old.
