Banana prices drop by 8.6% since the beginning of 2021
According to the Consumer Price Survey of the State Statistics Committee, banana prices in November dropped by an average of 3.5% compared to October.

Reportedly, banana prices have fallen by an average of 8.6% since the beginning of the year.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan imported 58.6 thousand tons of bananas from 10 foreign countries in January-October 2021.
The import of bananas increased by 33.1 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
Uzbekistan imports bananas mainly from Ecuador, Kazakhstan and Turkey.
