According to the decree signed on December 3, 2021, one of the main activities of the institute is the training, retraining and advanced training of specialists with in-depth knowledge of modern technologies.

The institute is a state institution of higher education, and students of the Termez branch of the Tashkent State Technical University continue their studies at the institute in bachelor's and master's degrees.

The institute now develops its own educational programs, learning from leading higher education institutions of the world.

Emphasis will be put on increasing practical training and reducing the hours of theoretical classes in the curricula.
