Drivers permitted to use headphones while driving, to install a monitor in the car
The Administrative Responsibility Code of Uzbekistan has been amended in connection with the liberalization of administrative penalties for certain offenses in the field of transport. The President of Uzbekistan has signed the relevant bill into law.

In accordance with the amendments, drivers can now talk on the phone through headphones while driving.
If the driver has a passport or ID-card, he is not required to carry transport documents, registration papers, power of attorney and insurance. This order will come into force on March 1, 2022.
The liability for installing a monitor (display) in the car has been abolished.
The fine for illegal transportation of passengers in the car is set at 30 times the BCA, previously it was 20 to 100 times the BCA.
