Gov’t to create a single database of criminals involved in human trafficking
The government has approved a regulation on the procedure for maintaining a single database of crimes related to human trafficking.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the single database on crimes in the field of human trafficking will be run by the Interior Ministry’s Search and Rescue Department.
The database includes information on human traffickers, victims of trafficking and alleged victims.
To use the information of the database, competent authorities in the fight against human trafficking may send inquiries in writing or electronically to the Search and Rescue Department and its territorial divisions.
After studying the inquiry, a response will be sent within five days.
