A passenger can go through the turnstile by simply scanning his face on a special screen – the system recognizing it, will charge the fare and let him enter the station.
To use the system, passengers need to enter their face and information on a bank or transport card in a special database.
If successful, the new payment system may be introduced at other stations of the Tashkent metro.
