Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Ilham Aliyev discuss prospects for cooperation
On November 5, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As the press service of the head of state reported, during the conversation, topical issues of strengthening the Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
In addition, issues of interaction in the transport and communication sphere, in particular the resumption of air traffic between the capitals, were considered.
The importance of regular holding of joint cultural and humanitarian events on the territory of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan was emphasized.
The presidents also exchanged views on the most important aspects of regional interaction, including on the agenda of the upcoming summit of the Turkic Council. The schedule of meetings at the highest level was considered.
