Cotton pickers to be paid extra incentives in certain areas
The Ministry of Finance will allocate up to 1.6 trillion soums to the Agrobank deposit on the condition of repayment within six months in order to provide loans to cotton and textile clusters at the rate of 14% per annum (including 1% bank margin).

In 2021-2023, 30% of the cost of each ton of cotton harvested by machines will be reimbursed from the state budget, based on the recommended service tariffs in Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions.
In Jizzakh, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions, as well as in all districts of Karakalpakstan, in 6 districts of Kashkadarya region and 4 districts of Surkhandarya region, cotton pickers are paid a surcharge of 230 soums per kg of cotton in addition to the current rate.
