“We need to build 80,000 apartments a year” – President

“Both of these issues are very important. Problems have accumulated over the years in both areas. People have attended the polls with hope, they are expecting popular projects for the next 5 years.

Today’s two issues all depend on local leaders. The reason is that the necessary money has been allocated, and a mortgage program has been created with the construction of houses.

It should be noted that in recent years, more than 140,000 homes have been built in the country under mortgage programs. This number is more than 10 times higher than in previous years. That’s a lot, of course, but it’s not enough.

About 300,000 marriages are being registered in our country every year, and our population is expected to reach 38 million in the next five years. Over the past 30 years, the population of Namangan, Termez and Khanabad has doubled, and the population of Karshi, Jizzakh, Margilan, Nukus, Andijan, Zarafshan and Kuvasoy has increased 1.5 times.

The population of Samarkand and Namangan exceeds 1 million. With this in mind, we need to build 80,000 homes a year over the next five years to meet the housing needs of the population.

It should be noted that during the local elections, we plan to build a “New Uzbekistan blocks” with all the economic and social infrastructure in each region, through which to build more than 250,000 homes over the next five years.
